Review process & publication

The same rigorous standard as the main track

To ensure the highest scientific quality across the entire conference, we apply identical standards to all accepted papers.

Centralised submission

All Special Sessions and the Doctoral Track are managed as individual tracks within the main ACIIDS submission and reviewing system.

Two-phase review

Organizers manage the first phase with their invited reviewers. In the second phase, all submissions and reviews are re-evaluated by the ACIIDS Meta-reviewing Committee.

Final decisions

Organizers lead the initial review, but the ACIIDS Program Committee makes the final acceptance decision — holding session papers to the exact standard of main-track papers.

Springer publication

Accepted papers are published alongside the main conference proceedings in a bound volume by Springer-Verlag.

Organizer responsibilities

Leading a track at ACIIDS

If your proposal is accepted, you take on an important leadership role within the conference. Organizers are responsible for:

01
Preparing and maintaining a dedicated webpage for the session or workshop.
02
Actively advertising and promoting the track and the broader conference to professional networks to attract high-quality submissions.
03
Managing the initial peer-review phase using the proposed Board of Reviewers.
04
Inviting an international Board of Reviewers and ensuring at least three independent reviews are delivered for every submitted paper.

Ready to organize a session?

Submit your proposal before 31 July 2026. We look forward to building the ACIIDS 2027 program with you.
